50 Port Voice Patch Panel
- Description
The Austin Taylor 50 port Voice Patch Panel is designed to provide a cost effective and simple way to feed PBX or other voice circuits into a structured cabling system. Its high density design enables up to 50 3-pair ports to be terminated within 1U of rack space.
Rear cable support is provided along with cable tie points for securing and relieving strain on terminations.
Each panel is supplied with a fixing and earthing kit, and individual ports are numbered for easy identification.
Standard RJ45 patch cords are used to connect the voice circuits into the structured cabling system.

Connection Boxes
- Description
20, 50 and 100 -pair plastic connection boxes provide a simple telephone cabling solution. Each comes with jumper rings, earth posts and connector mountings, and has generous provision for fixing cable tie anchors. The range also features quick release screws and cable entry knockouts all around.
Larger metal enclosures are ideally suited to requirements of 200 pairs and above. The door opens through a full 180° for ease of access and can be removed entirely using quick release hinges. The door also features a large document wallet for system documentation, is fully lockable and can be easily reversed for left or right opening.
Full cable entry and management facilities are included with ample jumper ring provision, 80mm knockouts in the sides, or by removing one or more parts of the gland plates located top and bottom.
Lightning protection is fully supported: backmount frames are connected permanently to a 5 way earth terminal.

Corded Line Adaptors
- Description
Corded Line Adaptors neatly convert an RJ45 outlet to a standard BT socket allowing voice applications over structured cabling. They are available from stock with 150mm tails in Secondary, PBX Master and PSTN Master variations, each being clearly labelled.

Distribution Frame
- Description
The 111B Distribution Frame is a 690 pair capacity, single vertical distribution frame for use with industry standard 10 pair IDC strips. Frames can be used individually or combined any size of installation – side by side for wall mounting or back-to-back to form a free-standing system.
The 108A is a two vertical, modular distribution frame offering up to 1380 pairs capacity when using Austin Taylor 237A connection strips. Modular construction means that the units can be assembled side-by-side for wall mounting, or back-to-back for free-standing applications.
Cable management is provided by large jumper rings fitted top, bottom and between terminal banks, whilst individual terminal blocks are provided with fixed fanning strips.

Telephone Cable
- Description
CW1308 and CW1128 (external grade) telephone cables are readily available in cut-to-length quantities. Each is supplied with earth and is available in 20, 50 and 100 pair core sizes.
