Distributor Listed Installer (DLI)
Extended Warranty Programme
The Siemon 15-year Product Warranty is offered through the Distributor Listed Installer (DLI) Programme. Installers are nominated and given ongoing support by participating Siemon distributors, receiving intensive training in Siemon products and best practise. Upon successful course completion the installer receives a comprehensive reference manual and certification, and is able to offer the Siemon 15-year Product Warranty for all registered sites using end-to-end Siemon products.

The companies intellectual property portfolio includes over 400 active patents specific to structured cabling and numerous patents pending.
The Siemon Company guarantees any and all of its products installed in the cabling channel to be free of manufacturing defects and be in proper working order for a period of 15 years. Siemon connecting hardware is designed to stand the test of time, therefore the customer can expect Siemon products to function reliably long after the 15-year warranty.

Certified Installer® Programme
Ensuring cabling system performance goes beyond buying good quality cable and connecting hardware. To realise its potential a structured cabling system needs to be properly designed, installed, and administered. In recognition of these critical factors The Siemon Company has developed the Siemon Cabling System Certified Installer Programme.
All Siemon training is standards-based, includes an appropriate mixture of classroom and hands-on sessions, and concludes with a rigorous examination. The Siemon Cabling System training programme is ISO 9001 approved - the only such programme in the industry to achieve that distinction. Siemon CI training is also recognised by BICSI for credit towards renewal of many BICSI designations.
The CI selection process is a rigorous one, in order to qualify for participation attendees must demonstrate experience as telecommunications cabling technicians. For certification two representatives from the company must complete the advanced course – an Installer and a system Designer.
Certified Installers can offer an extended 20 year Siemon warranty covering products, performance, installation and applications assurance.
